Hello Ismael,

the XDK has no hardware interface to communicate via RFID. But you can use common RFID solutions which are implemented with extensions on the Arduino with the XDK.
An example would be the MFRC522 chip which is connected via SPI to the Arduino. Further the XDK also provides an extension bus with reserved SPI pins to connect the MFRC522.

If this is a solution for you, I would recommend to take a look at how to implement a SPI connection on the XDK. Further I recommend to take a look at the SPI_ih.h interface you can find in the SDK at:

SDK > xdk110 > Plattform > Peripherals > include

Please tell me if this was helpful and do not hesitate to ask if you have further questions.

Kind regards,
Franjo

Hello Ismael,

Please note that if you connect hardware to the extension bus, you need to pay attention to the power levels for the logic lines and a level shifter might be needed. Besides that, it's mainly SW work to implement the driver. We have done this for several functions already and it usually works fine :)
