I use XDK workbench 3.5.0 and version of XDK 110

I want to Read/ Write Data from the the RFID or MFRC522 chip using the XDK. Is that Possible? and if there is a way, could you tell me or guide me how to do it?

Dear Amri,

First, I would like to welcome you to the XDK community.

Reading and writing data to and from the MFRC522 chip should be possible, since it integrates a module for I2C, SPI and UART communication. Therefore, you are free in your choice, which of these bus protocols you want to use, the XDK does integrate them all.

I personally recommend the use of the UART module. Regarding that, the UART article in the XDK-Knowledgebase is a good starting point.
Please note a free registration is required beforehand, before you can access the content of the XDK-Knowledgebase.

Furthermore, since you are a beginner with the XDK, I strongly recommend you to go through the complete Getting Started section in the XDK-Knowledgebase first, to get familiar with the programming principals and the coding structure of the XDK.

Please let me know if this was helpful and feel free to ask if you have further questions.

Kind regards,
Franjo
