Hi

I am using AWSSendDataOverMQTT template for my program. My program worked. However, when I used a new device (XDK), the program stopped working. The error I received is WLanDriver_SetDeviceTime failed. During this error, sound was produced by the XDK and red LED was flashing.  During this error, it can be seen that the XDK is disconnected and connected back again multiple times.

I had retrieved timestamp from SNTP server and it is correct.

Hi July

Which workbench version you are using?

Was some changes done in the Aws application you are using or you are using the default application?

If you have not done any changes and used another device please use the config.txt and certificates in the SD card and clean and build.

Let me know the version to help you .

Thanks

Priyashi

Hi Priyashi,

Thank you for your reply.

I use the version 3.5.0 workbench.

My program has added some features, like the battery, LEDs, etc. I tested the default AWS application, reading from sd card and reading from header file both were stopped at WLanDriver_SetDeviceTime.

Thanks,

July

Hi July

If you have tested the default AWS application without doing any changes make sure that you have good internet connection and the config.txt and certificates in your sdcard.

Clean and flash the application.

Also make sure to have proper certificates and amazon account.

  1. If you are using the configurations from header then make below configuration as false in AppController.h

     #define APP_USE_CONFIG_FILE                 false

   2. Add credentials for ssid, password and sntp url in AppController.h

clean and build your application.

Thanks

Priyashi
