Hello again,

I try to use Websockets according to RFC6455... Do we have any solutions for this allready on the XDK? I searched in the API but doesnt found anything about it.

Thank you for help,

Mario

Hi Mario,

I can confirm, that XDK currently does not support websockets. Also, it is currently not on the roadmap.

However, there is an open-source websockets library that looks license-compatible here: https://libwebsockets.org/trac/libwebsockets. I did not look into this in detail, but maybe you can check, whether it fulfils your requirements.

Hi Bastian,

I've allready wrote my own functions to use it... So one for filling the header, one for the handshake and one for demasking the messages. It works fine and I dont need anything else.

Thank You :)

Hi Mario,

is it possible that you share this code? It would be extremely interesting for my project as well to be able to use websocket communication.

[Edit]Or if it's not possible, how can I add new modules that are not part of the XDK Toolkit like the libwebsockets?[/Edit]
