Hello,

my XDK with flashed Sensor Monitor v1 or v2 doesn't connect to my WiFi network even though WiFi parameters have been entered to config.txt on SD card as explained in getting started guide. ACTIVATEBLE = NO. WiFi is encrypted using WPA2.

Hi Bastian,

here is the content of the used config.txt file

SSID = TiRoMi
PWD = ****************
ACTIVATEBLE = NO
BLEDEVNAME = xdk110_ronny

Additional information: By using the USB connection to SensorMonitor Application on PC the configuration window in the app shows for both MAC address and IP address 00000000000. XDK device is also not visible in connected network devices page in the router menu.

Hi Ronny,

in my experience the WiFi connection is only established if the sensor is not connected via USB. So if you haven't tried yet, please detach and reboot the XDK.

doesn't work neither with disconnected USB.

Can I check somehow if my SD card and the config.txt file is recognized?

Hi Ronny,

apologies for not getting back to you earlier.

You can try this: open up CMN_common_ch.h in XDK Workbench and add the following line:
#define XDK_SERIAL_TRACE 1

Please add it above the following line:
#ifdef XDK_SERIAL_TRACE

Now please clean your project ("Project" -> "Clean...") and flash it again. You should be seeing lots of output on the Console now. This may help you to actually locate the problem.

Please let me know, if it worked.
