SDK errors while build

Hello community,

I was trying to import a XDK project that was created on a different laptop. On the laptop it was created it works fine, but I am having problems to import it on mine.

I had the  mingw32-make: *** No rule to make target 'debug'.  Stop. Error which I resolved with the instructions in this community. I still have the  Program "g++" not found in PATH which was mentioned in here earlier as well, but it seemed to be no problem as I am not using a SD card at the moment.
When I try to flash the firmware on the XDK I get the erros shown in the screenshots below. It seems there are no problems in the firmware itself, but in the SDK? Also it can't resolve uint_8 which seems strange to me.

I didn't find a problem like this in the community so far, but I hope maybe someone has an idea what this is about.

BR,
Florian

Is the XDK installed in the same directory on both computers? I had a similar problem once where the paths in the Building-Environment for the project were wrong. Sadly all those paths are absolute and not relative. If the XDK is installed in another directory than where the project was created all those paths a wrong.

Good point thank you for that. Do you know where I can check those paths? I checked Properties > C/C++ Build > Environment, but all those paths look fine.

In my case the path PWD was wrong and didn't point directly to the makefile of the project. If that doesn't solve your problem I am afraid that I don't have another idea. Maybe you could compare the paths in the project with the paths of your own projects that compile without problems on your computer.

I double checked the paths and they seem to be right. I also tried to import the project on other machines and I ran into the same errors.
I don't know if that matters, but I can flash the binary that is already created inside the application, but once I clean the project and try to rebuild it I run into the errors.

Hi Florian,

Did you solve the problem by now?
If not, please give us some additional information so that we can help you:

1. Can you build other projects on that machine at all? If yes, can you build other projects with the SDC_sdCardDriver_ih.h linked? Try for example to build the SDC_sdCardApp from the welcome screen examples.
2. Do all the settings in the project's properties match those of a fresh example project?
3. Did you install the workbench in a path that contains spaces?

Kind regards,
Manuel

Hi Manuel,

no I couldn't solve it yet. When I import the project and the old binary files are still there I can flash it, but once I clean it and try to flash it, I get the errors again.

Thanks for this advice I'm going to try that as soon as possible. I can build the example projects, but I didn't try the SDC_sdCardApp yet.

I installed it at C:\XDK-Workbench like recommended, so this should be fine.

Florian
