Hello,

When running Virtual XDK we can see the XDK on the screen moving like the XDK in real life. But if you  start doing looping or mooving it too fast the XDK has some problems specialy  when you turn it right  the virtual XDK goes left and when you turn it left the virtual XDK goes right. It could be a problem for some use case.

Hello Maxime,

the Virtual XDK application interprets the gyro and accelerometer data to display the current position of the XDK.
Every time you initiate the bluetooth connection, the smartphone application assumes a default position.
This is neccessary, because there is no way to be aware of the current relative direction between the smartphone and the XDK.

To get the XDK synchronized with the smartphone-application there is a „default position“ button in the preferences of the app.
So please place the XDK in the same assumed default position and reset it.
If the positions aren’t synchronized, it can happen that the XDK seems to counterrotate.

In addition there is a limit in the sampling frequency predefined at 50 Hz maximum.
If you are moving the XDK to fast, the sensors will lost the current position.

Unfortunately the Virtual-XDK has these limits, but we are working hard to improve all XDK-components.

Hello Manuel,

Yes i know it gives information only every  0.02sec to the app so if we move too fast he will be desynchronised but sometimes  I move it really slowly  (maybe too slowy ) and i start rotating XDK to the left and when I am at 90° from the initial position it counterrotates. I wanted to let you know this.
I know you are working hard on it, so thanks for all your work and good luck in your improvment.
