Hello, I'm new in this community, I received an XDK110 device and I've just installed the lastert XDK workbench version on my mac osx system. The software is working but it can not recognize the connected device. I tried to put the device in bootloader mode but the software doesn't see it.
When I search in my system information I see that the XDK is connected to the usb port and it's seen as "XDK Bootloader".
I tried to install the workbench on another computer with Ubuntu and the result is the same.
Only on my third system (windows vista) the device is correctly seen by the XDK workbench, after the driver installation.
Is there any driver to be installed on Mac/Linux?
I tried to run the workbench from terminal and every time it tries to connect to the device there's this log on my terminal: "Could not find COM port for USB device with product ID 017b".
Hello Paolo Nicotra,
Can you please let me know, which workbench version of Mac did work and didn't work ?
Hello, at first I installed the latest (3.6). In that version it was impossible to detect the device as COM port by the workbench.
Then I uninstalled the 3.6 version and I installed the 3.5 version. In this case the XDK110 was immediately online on my workbench.
This issue happened on my Macbook pro (early 2008) with osx Yosemite 10.10.5.
Same issue on my Ubuntu system with the 3.6 workbench. I didn't try the 3.5 version in this case.
I have just tested Workbench 3.6 on the MacBook. The device could be detected without any problems. ?
