Hello Community

I updated the XDK-Workspace to its latest version, and when I try to activate the 3V3 pin it shows an error in #include "BSP_BoardShared.h", attached images of the error shown.

Hi Andres

BSP_BoardShared is a  private header.

Use Retcode_T BSP_ExtensionPort_Connect(void) and add the below include in your AppControler.c file.

#include "BSP_ExtensionPort.h"

Thanks

When I was working on version 3.0.1 of the XDK-Workspace I followeb the steps of the following link to activate the 3V3 of the XDK Gateway: https://xdk.bosch-connectivity.com/community/-/message_boards/message/314234

From what you answered, I added those parts of the code but it does not work.

Could you tell me that I would have to replace and add to the link that I attached to you and regarding your answer

Thank you

Andrés Rivera

Hello Andrés,

There have been some API and architectural changes since the message you have attached.

Actions which go through the extension port, should use the APIs from BSP_ExtensionPort.h . The 3V3 volt supply is activated when you connect the extension port to the MCU using BSP_ExtensionPort_Connect().

Please try the extension port APIs by deriving from the XdkExtensionPort example project as newer versions of the workbench may break old code.

Pura vida,

Francisco
