anomaly in accelerometer value

I am storing accelerometer data in a csv file. The rate is 1000 samples per second. To see whether everything is perfect or not, I put the XDK on a table, and hit the table 4 times. So, if I plot the data in time domain, I should get 4 hit strike, which I am getting, but there are some anomalies in the accelerometer data especially in the -ve g values. If we look at the plot, we see, unnecessary values in the -ve g. May be the accelerometer output is saturating in the negative direction.
To make the situation clear, I am posting 2 images, one with anomaly(the left one); the other with a result that I should have(the right one). (The correct result is measured using the datalogger demo.)
Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Ankit,

Check your sensor configuration. Maybe you should change the range value.

Hi,

I have configured the sensor in 16G Range. So it shouldnot be a problem but I am still having this problem.
