Hello Shen,

if you want to use the live monitor plugin, you have to make some changes in your code. But you don't need to write any header files.

First of all, you have to include this header file in your implementation .c file.

#include "OS_SleepMgt_ih.h"

To display the measured values in the plugin, the printed structure should match the following pattern:

{[MONITOR]<sensor>(<timestamp>):<key>=<value><unit>|...}\n\r

The code below is an example how to use the pattern.

printf(
"{[MONITOR]%s(%llu):x=%ld%s|y=%ld%s|z=%ld%s\n\r}”,
"BMA280",
OS_timeGetSystemTimeMs(),
sensorData.accelX,
"mg",
sensorData.accelY,
"mg",
sensorData.accelZ,
"mg"
);

If you need more information about the live monitor plugin, you can check the XDK User guide on page 35. There is a whole section about the plugin.

Kind regards,
Franjo

Hello Shen,

the live monitor plugin is a tool to display measured sensor values in a graph. Therefore measured values are required. So you will need to set up an example to initialize and read some sensor values.

The easiest way is to follow this instruction.

Please keep in mind, that you have to change the printf statements afterwards to display the measured values in the plugin. To do so, please follow the code in this thread.

I hope this could help you.

Kind regards,

Franjo

Hello Shen,

I will try to help you as good as I can.

Therefore I would suggest you to work through the Getting started guide of the XDK and start with the basics.

The XDK User guide offers a good explanation about the operating modes of the XDK. You can find the according section on page 42. The XDK Workbench shows the operating modes of the connected XDK devices in the upper left part.

An explanation about the buttons and how to use them is on page 6 and 7 in the XDK User guide.

I hope this could help you.

Kind regards,
Franjo
