I wanted to implement this XDK110 kit for one of my application which require the data coming from the BMI160 sensor. I need to read this data through UART to my Raspberry pi. How to white a code for this ? Actaully I am new to this sensor and dont have much exposure to programming.
Advance thanks for help...
welcome to the XDK community. I would suggest you to start from the scratch by starting with the sensor example in this thread. The example should give you a small insight how to work with some XDK sensors. To implement the BMI160 you will need the functions defined in BCDS_Accelerometer.h.
You can find the needed functions for an UART connection in SER_serialDriver_ih. The header file contains explainations of every function. Therefore it should be simple to implement an UART connection. I attached two screenshots where you can find the headerfiles BCDS_Accelerometer.h and SER_serialDriver_ih.h.
Please don't hesitate if you have further questions.
Kind regards, Franjo
I am glad to hear that it worked out for you.
