to my knowledge the Bosch Wi-Fi´s are encrypted with WPA2 enterprise. This kind of encryption is not supported by the XDK right now. Therefore you have to use your personal hotspot.
If you want to display the data in the IoT dashboard, you have to follow the english getting started instructions in the dashboard to import your XDK device and adjust a suitable widget.
Kind regards, Franjo
I can see the sensor data on dashboard now. I have a question - is it possible to access the sensor data directly from the cloud and access it on my application instead of dashboard. like is there any api to get the data from the cloud !!
great to hear that it is working now. There is already thread where we have discussed the topic, if there is a way to get the data of the cloud. See here.
Currently, we have no reply of the developers but I guess that there is no access to the IoT cloud.
Thanks a lot,
Can you share the code or any demo application where I can send the sensor data and use it for my web application. That will be a great help.
please open new threads for issues with new topics. Otherwise the title of the thread doesn’t match to the content and other users won’t be able to find this issue.
I guess this topic is solved and I will close this thread for now.
This is a really big issue how to send sensor data to a web application and you have several ways to do this. Additionally it depends on the server and provided interface, you would like to communicate with.
-For sending via HTTP requests see here. -For sending data via UPD see the SendDataOverUdp example in the welcome screen of the workbench. -Reading sensor data in general see here. -For other protocols like mqtt please take a look at our IoT cloud examples
This should help you to make progress. Please feel free to open a new thread for further questions.
