Hello,

In BCDS home page.

I receive "parameters duplicated" error when registering a XDK for my account.

Please support.

Hello Kiran,

by your screenshot I suggest you mean registering for the Bosch IoT Suite bcds.bosch-si.com.

This error occurs, if the XDK is already registered for an other IoT Suite account.
To solve the problem you just have to delete the XDK from the other account.

I have a similar problem. I removed my XDK from my other account. But still can't add the XDK to current account. Please advise what can be done. Thank you.

Hello Sirajum,

welcome to the XDK community. 

I checked it again and due to my knowledge it works as I mentioned. 
You need remove the XDK in the first account of the XDK Portal and add it to the other.
If it doesn’t work, it means that your XDK is still registered to the first mentioned account.
I recommend to check it a second time and ensure that your changes have been saved. In addition please make sure that the device is removed in the device view too.

Hello Manuel,

Thank you for the reply. I checked and found that the device is not in the divice view either. So, it must have been removed from the both views. But still I can not add the device to a different account.

When you said "You need remove the XDK in the first account of the XDK Portal and add it to the other", you mean this site, right?

Hello Sirajum,

I checked the registration functionality in the Bosch XDK Portal at https://bcds.bosch-si.com various times with 2 accounts and different XDKs.
I was able to register and unregister every XDK in each account without any issues and thus cannot reproduce your issue.
Therefore I assume that the registering functionality is working correctly and if you deregister the XDK, you should be able to register it on your other account.

The only other possibility is, that anybody else registered an XDK with the same MAC unintentionally, what would be very unlikely.

Unfortunately I am not permitted to alter user data in the XDK dashboard, and there I can not unregister any XDK for you.

Please note that there will be an entire new cloud early this year with a plenty of functions.

Meanwhile the only thing I can do is to recommend to check the mentioned registrations again or alternatively try with another XDK (if you have one).

Please feel free to build you own application based on the current XDK Portal demo since this demo only shows a use case of the XDK.

Thank you for the reply. It was helpful to understand that the problem is with the unregistering, but it does not solve the problem. If you could unregister an XDK node from your side, that would be very helpful.

Hello Sirajum,

as I already mentioned, I am not permitted to change the registered XDK of current users.

Thus, unfortunately the only thing I can do is to ask you to register another XDK or implement your own solution since the XDK Portal is only a demonstration what is possible to realize with the XDK.
