Hi, Acording to the BMI160 datasheet, the bandwidth of the accelerometer can be programmed upto 1600hz. As far as I know, the maximum sampling rate possible by XDK is 1000hz. However, I can't find an option to set bandwidth to 500hz in BCDS_Accelerometer.h, the maximum possible is 200hz .
Is it possible to set it 500hz using a different method? Thanks.
you are correct the maximal sampling rate of the XDK sensors is limited by approximately 1000Hz. The BMI160 uses oversampling, therefore results the configured bandwidth always in the double sampling rate. Unfortunately is the highest possible sampling rate limited to 200Hz and will only result in 400Hz sampling rate respectively. Alternatively could you also use the BMA280, which provides the 500Hz sampling rate, to measure the acceleration.
Please tell me if this was helpful and do not hesitate to ask if you have further questions.
Kind regards, Franjo
