I started a new project, based on the xdkTemplate. I have not written any code in it, and I got an error message: "Type 'assert(false)' could not be resolved". How can I solve it? Do I need to solve it or just leave it as it is?
Thanks for your fast tipp. I built first, after I could boot and I could use the program. The error remains, but has no effect on the program.
Hello Béla, As Felipe already said is the error you are facing caused by the indexing system of the XDK-Workbench. This indexing system's purpose is to help the developer, using features such as Auto-Completion, Opening Declarations, and Call Hierarchies. This issue is usually solved by a manual reindexing. For this, right-click your project in the Project-Explorer, browse down to Index and then select Rebuild. Afterwards, the error messages should be gone. If they still persist, but the build is successful, you can safely ignore them. As Felipe mentioned, errors are only preventing successful compilation, if they are mentioned in the build log. In that case, the corresponding text lines will be marked red in the console. Please let me know if that was helpful and do not hesitate to ask if you have further questions. Kind regards, Franjo
I tested Index -> Rebuild and the error disappeared.
Hello Béla, I am glad to hear that you were able to solve the issue. Please feel free to ask if you have further questions. Kind regards, Franjo
