at first glance it seems a bit overpriced, if you compare it with other sensors.
But I think it is really worth it, because you don’t get this full sensor package anywhere.
Thats why the XDK saves a lot of time.
I guess there is no failure in the temperature sensor, but you really need to know how to measure the temperature correctly.
The air circulation in the XDK and the angle while measuring the temperature influence the value.
Especially if the wifi chip is running.
I really want to see a sound sensor API too. But I its on the roadmap and the developers are working hard to get it done.
There is a possible workaround to estimate the battery state, I think. See
here.
